The main element in a rock band! Be it strumming, finger picking, bending, tapping or sliding, electrical guitars are the core instruments in a rock band and the essence of rock music. There are various types of electrical guitars, be it the cool solid-body, charismatic semi-acoustic, eccentric double-neck guitars, and et cetera. There are usually more than one guitarist in a band; a lead guitarist and a rhythmic guitarist are commonplace.

The Bass Guitar
An underrepresented but vital instrument, bass guitarist is the one who lay the beats and play the rhythmic role. Played by plucking, slapping or thumping the bass which closely resembles the electrical guitar, except for its four-string appearance; a preference by most bassist, they back the guitarist by building the tempo of the whole song.

The Drums

The biggest set of instrument in a rock band, in terms of outlook and sounds, no rock band is a rock band without an enthusiastic drummer. Crash, crash, crash and the drummer would make you rock to their beats.
